2009 Members Picnics

July 9 and August 6       Rain or Shine

Take advantage of these two special evenings when Members, and their accompanied guests, can spread a blanket and dine on the lawn.  Bring your own picnic or reserve a box dinner. 

Hours: Grounds open until 8:30PM

             Wave Hill Café and the Shop at Wave Hill open until 8PM

             Glyndor Gallery open until 8PM-Tour at 7PM

Member Discounts: 20% in the Shop

                                     10% in the Café

Parking: Free on-site parking after 6PM; space is limited

Picnic Box Dinner Menus* 

$20 per person (does not include tax and gratuity)

Steak House Salad

Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak, Blue Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes, Crisp Bacon

Served with Katchkie Farm Greens and Balsamic Vinaigrette

Fresh Pea Tendrils, Asparagus, Oranges,

Radishes, Cherry Tomatoes and Citrus Vinaigrette

Katchkie Farm Arugula and Tofu,

with Green and Yellow Beans, Baby Beets, Turnips and Wild Herb Vinaigrette

All boxes will be served with seasonal whole fruit and a cookie or brownie, as well as bottled water, soda or tea.

Picnic Boxes must be reserved and prepaid by 4PM on the Monday prior to each picnic.

Free shuttle to and from Metro-North Riverdale Station and the #1 Subway at W. 242nd Street.   Directions
