Contributions to Wave Hill's Annual Appeal provide vital general operating support that underwrites the care of Wave Hill's living collections and makes many educational and cultural programs possible. Wave Hill's magnificent gardens and vistas provide a place of peace in the urban landscape and inform a wealth of educational and cultural programs. Our city's children and their teachers gain new science skills and a deeper understanding of the environment through school partnerships and summer programs for teens. Garden tours and workshops, art exhibitions and public programs like the Family Art Project, concerts, and Barefoot Dancing on summer evenings empower children and adults alike to expand their horizons in an exceptional setting. Positive, peaceful outdoor experiences that bring people closer to the natural environment through art and learning are absolutely vital to us as urban residents—and Wave Hill is proud to foster these kinds of connections every day.

This is an important time for Wave Hill, as we anticipate financial challenges in the years ahead. We maintain a strong commitment to enhancing public access to Wave Hill's world-class gardens and to sustaining our myriad programs. Strong community support ensures a modest gate admission and means that many Wave Hill programs can continue free of charge. Your support means a lot to us.

Checks payable to WAVE HILL may be mailed to:

Wave Hill Annual Appeal

To make a contribution by phone using a major credit card, or to make a gift of appreciated securities, please contact Ilana Lewin, Assistant Director of Development for Individual Support, at 718.549.3200 x256.

Tree Dedications
are a wonderful way to honor or remember those we love. At Wave Hill, tree dedications are available at the $10,000 contribution level. Dedications are recognized on a 3" x 5" aluminum plant-label affixed to a stake and placed in front of young trees. As trees mature, plaques are periodically remade and, if appropriate, hung from a substantial branch.

For information about Tree Dedications, special naming opportunities within the gardens, legacy gifts or bequest gifts, contact Kathryn Heintz, Director of Development and Public Relations, at 718.549.3200 x233.

Contributions to Wave Hill are tax deductible within the limits prescribed by law.

Thanks to our generous supporters.
