Through generated@wavehill, an artist is invited to create a temporal outdoor artwork that is inspired by Wave Hill and explores the connection between nature and people. The project is generated through research and consultation with the visual arts, horticulture, public programs and maintenance staff. The process allows for an artist to explore new ideas and to interact with Wave Hill’s diverse visitors. The resulting artwork provides a new point of view for experiencing the gardens during the summer and fall.
