Cohen has created a series of wearable felt appendages that convey
the healing power of added body and animal parts. Presented as fashion
accessories or bandages, they allude to the lengths people go to
extend or maximize their youthful appearance through all forms of
implants. Cohen is also interested in calling attention to the curative
use of amphibian cells in experimental research, and wonders how
these implanted cells will affect evolution.
