At Wave Hill, Marion Wilson will paint miniature landscapes on glass slides, based on Wave Hill’s stunning views and plant life—both beautiful and abject in the winter. Wilson lives and works in Syracuse, NY. She is an Associate Professor and the Director of Community Initiatives in the Visual Arts at Syracuse University. Recently, her work has been exhibited at Frederieke Taylor Gallery, New York; Massachusetts College of Art, Boston; and the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York. She has received an Artist in Residency Grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts and was awarded a fellowship at Millay Colony for the Arts sponsored by the Nancy Graves Foundation.
