Tuesday thru Sunday, 10AM–4PM
The Café at Wave Hill offers visitors a wide selection of local and artisanal offerings in historic Wave Hill House, a former Hudson River mansion. Enjoy sweeping views of the majestic Hudson River and Palisades as you dine in The Café itself or on the adjacent Kate French Terrace.
Select from The Café’s warm entrees and specials, made to order while you compose the perfect combination at the salad bar, where ingredients vary throughout the year. Or choose from a selection of prepared salads, sandwiches and snacks when you’d prefer a quick meal.
Much of the seasonal produce and ingredients featured in The Café is sourced from Katchkie Farm, Great Performances’ 60-acre, organic farm in Kinderhook, NY. The Café is sensitive to many of our visitors’ dietary restrictions, offering vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher entrees.
We invite you to discover New York’s newest destination for Afternoon Tea. The Café at Wave Hill pairs a classic menu with an assortment of green, black and herbal teas. This traditional tea service includes the following four elements: savory, scones, sweets and tea. The menu, presented by Great Performances, will change seasonally and include an array of tea sandwiches, scones, and bite-sized desserts. High Tea includes a glass of sparkling wine and strawberries.
You can enjoy Afternoon Tea in The Cafe or on Wave Hill House's Kate French Terrace. This dining experience will leave you feeling relaxed and satiated. Join us for this timeless and luxurious tradition after a walk through Wave Hill's stunning gardens.
