Stephen Orr focuses on a new approach to landscaping that a number of designers and homeowners have begun to champion, marrying traditional environmental concerns with a flexibility and a sensitivity to aesthetics missing from green-gardening orthodoxies of the past. A writer, editor and self-taught gardener, Stephen Orr has been published widely; his first garden book will be published by Rodale Press in 2010. The lecture is held at The New York School of Interior Design, located at 170 East 70th Street, Manhattan.
