| The New York Council for the Humanities and Wave Hill join forces to offer a monthly reading and discussion series. Prof. Tara Weiss of Kingsborough Community College uses the work of science writers and novelists to explore the crisis and call us to responsible action. May 16, discuss Water Wars: Privatization, Pollution and Profit, by Vandana Shiva, exploring global problems of access to clean water and private purchase of this natural resource. Series concludes Sunday, June 13. |
