| Jeffrey Kollbrunner, wildlife photographer and urban hawk adviser to NYC Audubon, presents a slide show all about the biology and ecology of the red-tailed hawk and the ways it has adapted to the urban environment. The presentation covers a full year in the life cycle of a pair of red-tailed hawks, documented through field observation and high resolution photographic images. Many of the images capture events and behavior in the life of these hawks that are rarely observed or photographed. Jeffrey is happy to answer your questions! Raptor Day event. |
