Growing Up in the Garden Generations of families do some of their most thrilling growing up in the gardens of Wave Hill, a place to play, to draw, to write, to listen, to open your senses to the richness of life itself. In 2010, we honor the anniversary of two programs that have come to embody Wave Hill’s mission to connect people with nature: Offered every weekend afternoon, The Family Art Project observes its 20th anniversary, while the Forest Project Summer Collaborative, a paid internship for high-school students, turns 30 this summer. We invite you to join us often over the year as we celebrate not just these stellar programs, but the spirit of natural learning that inspires everything we do at Wave Hill.
