| Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a beekeeper? Wave Hill is the perfect place to explore beekeeping without a big commitment of time or money. Adults are invited to join a half-day workshop in the winter to get an overview of starting a hive, or suit up for a hands-on hive inspection during the warmer months. We provide the bees, protective gear and beekeeping expertise -- all you need is courage and curiosity! In the fall, families look forward to our annual Honey Weekend to “be a bee” while crafting bee costumes, tasting honey and extracting honey from our own hives.
