Wave Hill House

Artist Lisa Murch returns to enliven Wave Hill House with Flora and Fauna, a site specific installation on the main staircase. Using ordinary craft materials like wire and paper mache, she has fashioned a large, leafy green vine which winds along the rail and wall of the staircase. Detailed with tiny insects and delicate with flower moths, the vine offers a seasonal ornamentation to its surroundings, while reminding visitors of the lush plant life on the grounds, waiting to emerge again in the spring.
