This annual winter series invites distinguished gardeners to discuss their work, providing inspiration for spring gardens. Hosted by Wave Hill's Friends of Horticulture Committee, Horticultural Lectures are presented at the New York School of Interior Design, 170 East 70th Street in Manhattan. The 2008 series opens on January 30 when Patricia Jonas will describe "Constant Gardens: 500 Years of Plants in Art". On February 27, Alexander Reford will speak about "Jardins de Métis: Making an Historic Garden Hip". On March 19, the series concludes with a lecture by Pepe Maynard, "Portrait of a Garden". Lectures begin at 6PM.
