In the Herbert & Hyonja Abrons Woodland, a 1/2 mile trail ambles along the wooded slope below the formal lawns and gardens. Rustic benches and a gazebo offer quiet spots to rest and listen to the many species of birds that reside in our woodlands.

Arrow-Wood (Viburnum dentatum)
Native to eastern North America, this deciduous shrub is at home along the Woodland's edge. Upright, arching stems bear coarsely toothed, dark green leaves. Flattened corymbs of small white flowers appear in early summer.
