Winter Workspace 2017
January 03–March 26, 2016

Each winter, Wave Hill uses Glyndor Gallery as studio spaces for artists in the Winter Workspace Program, now in its eighth year. Twelve artists—Leenda Bonilla, Cecile Chong, Elisabeth Condon, Dahlia Elsayed, Rosemarie Fiore, Crystal Gregory, Yeon Jin Kim, Summer McCorkle, Anne Percoco & Ellie Irons, Tommy Nguyen, Alison Owen, and Michael Kelly Williams—will create new work and develop ongoing projects, using the exceptional gardens, woodland setting and plant collections as sources of inspiration. Representing a variety of artistic practices and mediums, each artist is in residence over one of two a six-week sessions.

There are a variety of opportunities for visitors to learn about the creative process behind each artist’s studio practice. Each of the two sessions includes culminating Open Studios, artist-led workshops for visitors to participate in hands-on art activities and Drop-In Sundays on January 15, 22, 29, February 5, 26, and March 5, 12, 19, from 1–3PM.
