Winter Workspace Program 2010

January 04 - March 21, 2010
Glyndor Gallery

While Glyndor Gallery is closed this winter, it will be transformed into an artist workspace for seven visual artists to develop new work or pursue a particular project using Wave Hill’s exceptional garden and woodland settings as a source conductive to the creative process. With a winter focus on the Hudson River, the artists will engage with ideas about the river. The artists selected include Susan Benarcik, Liz BurrowKent Henricksen , Robyn LoveRita MacDonald, Eve Mosher and Anne-Katrin Spiess.

Support for the Visual Arts Program is provided by Lily Auchincloss Foundation, Inc., Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, New York Community Trust Edward and Sally Van Lier Fund, New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, The Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation, and by the Cathy and Stephen Weinroth Commissioning Fund for the Arts.
