Art Workshop: Still Life in Bloom

When
4 sessions
Where
online
Price
$125

Wednesdays, June 3, 10, 17, 24, 10:00AM – 1:00PM

Capture the nature of daily rhythms in poetic explorations of still-life through drawing and collage inspired by artists who bridge the gap between word and image. In this sequence of four weekly workshops with artist Wennie Huang, create intimate landscapes of the everyday, rendering familiar objects and bits of nature into fragments of memory within a secret garden of possibilities.

Inspired by a weekly theme and demonstrations in drawing, mixed media and collage techniques, participants explore varied approaches while observing objects from home, collections from nature walks, or personal mementos. Each session includes time to focus on your own work and concludes with an optional group share. Basic drawing materials needed; a list of additional supplies will be provided but are not required.

Space is limited. Registration for this event closes at 10AM on Tuesday, June 2. Registrants will receive a follow-up email with a secure and private link to the event by 10AM on Tuesday, June 2, along with details about how to prepare for the class.

If you have any questions about this programs or have registration questions, please contact us at 718.549.3200 or information@wavehill.org Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 4PM.
