Gyun Hur: So we can be near
- On-site

So we can be near is a love letter, Gyun Hur’s contemplation of personal and collective memories of trauma, loss, beauty, yearning and irreconcilability. In a mirrored space under soft yellow light, Hur will drape the Sunroom’s floor with a large, vinyl print comprising a collection of recent biographical images gently covered with yellow silk flowers that have been hand-shredded. Over the period of this immersive exhibition, Hur will be present onsite, performing a meditation ritual that reflects on inevitability and love.
