2020 has led many photographers to turn to projects centered in one way or another on home or the surroundings where they live. Whether paying close attention to sequences of light and shadow in quiet places, documenting the beauties and idiosyncrasies of back yards or small personal living spaces, or combining photographs with text to create journals of their pandemic observations, photographers have turned their creativity to the local. In this series of three digital workshops, join photographer Benjamin Swett in exploring some of the recent work of photographers around the world as you put together your own portfolio of work.
Registration required, online or at 718.549.3200 x251, and closes at 10AM on Sunday, January 10. If you register, the day before the event you will receive a follow-up email with a secure and private link to this virtual event. Questions? Please email us at information@wavehill.org or call the telephone number and extension above.
