Rooted Perspectives: Tranquil Design in the Aquatic and Monocot Gardens
- Virtual
Neatly trimmed hedges and symmetrical pergolas provide a framework for grasses, tropical plants and exotic water lilies in the Aquatic and Monocot Gardens. Wave Hill Gardener Christopher Bivens explores how the gardens’ design elements, including water and simplistic geometry, conjure an intimate and transformative space. For the first time, people will be able to experience this reflective environment remotely. The program concludes with a Q&A with Wave Hill garden experts. In offering this event we gratefully acknowledge the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services and a CARES ACT grant.
Registration required, online or at 718.549.3200 x251, and closes at noon on Thursday, August 26. Questions? Please email us at information@wavehill.org or call the telephone number and extension above.
