Our gardens are dressed for the holidays and we’re hosting a myriad of memorable events to celebrate the season with family and friends. Shop our sensational Artisan Market. Come together to create decorative mementos of the season at workshops for young and old. Stroll our fun and funky display of outdoor wreaths created by talented Wave Hill staff and volunteers. Make memories in this breathtaking garden all season long.

Winter Haven's opening weekend brings back two favorites—multiple sessions of wreath-making and the Artisan Market, a fabulous shopping opportunity at your favorite garden.

Evening Programs
Enjoy the serenity of our gardens illuminated at night.

On select December Thursday evenings, special family programs include a Pajama Party, a Family Art-palooza and a Winter Solstice Wishes celebration. Enjoy hot cocoa and self-guided activities along our lighted pathways. Events on these evenings are free, and admission is free on Thursdays. The Café, Conservatory and Shop are open until 7PM and the grounds close at 7:30PM.

On Friday nights, adults can dance the night away with instructors from Ailey Extension or enjoy an evening of jazz while learning to craft specialty cocktails and seasonal floral arrangements. We're also open for all to just come for an evening stroll along lighted pathways and experience the magic of the gardens at night. The Café, Conservatory and Shop will remain open until 8:30PM, the grounds closing at 9:00PM.
