Meet the Artist: Hilary Lorenz
Join us at this artist talk with Hilary Lorenz in the Sunroom Project Space at Glyndor Gallery. Lorenz will discuss her room-size installation, Nomadic Geographies, which consists of ink drawings and linoleum-block prints that have been cut and collaged directly on the wall. The project stems from an intensive walking exploration of the Wave Hill grounds and nearby Harriman State Park. Nomadic Geographies serves as a record of Lorenz’s treks while evoking a wilderness fantasy with roaring bears and meandering coyotes. The exhibition is on view from October 18 to December 7, 2014.
Free with admission to the grounds.
