Bat conservationist and citizen scientist Danielle Gustafson reveals the winter survival strategies of bats in the Big Apple and beyond. Hear the latest research about a devastating disease called the white-nose syndrome, which has killed millions of North American bats, and find out why bats are so beneficial to the environment. Gain a new appreciation for these misunderstood animals and find out how you can go to bat for bats with simple conservation and community science efforts.
