Watch a video of the performers.

Hailing from the parish of Castlegregory in County Kerry, Mary Courtney is a remarkable singer and guitarist who brings her heritage, history and experience to her music. At the helm of her band, Morning Star, with John Redmond on button accordion and Donie Ryan on tenor banjo, Courtney is a remarkable storyteller, engaging the audience with everything from traditional Irish music to rock ‘n’ roll. In addition to singing, she performs on guitar and bodhrán.
