Herb and Dry Gardens
Nestled in the foundations of a former greenhouse, these terraced gardens feature herbs and ornamental plants from warmer regions of the world. The stone walls retain the sun’s warmth and provide these connected gardens with a strong architectural continuity. Culinary and medicinal herbs from around the world reside in the Herb Garden with descriptive labels describing their useful qualities. In the Dry Garden, a selection of ornamental plants from drier climates are planted in artful combinations.
