Family Art Project: Nature's Mosaics
Join visiting artist Stephanie Beck in an exploration of biodiversity through mosaic art! Playfully fit together small pieces and dried plants, crafting artwork that celebrates the rich diversity of living things at Wave Hill.
Registration not required.
Wave Hill House is wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.

Stephanie Beck
Stephanie Beck creates abstract sculptural wood “drawings” that explore the unique relationships with nature that develop within an urban environment. Her work is inspired by architectural forms, tree grafting, bird plumage, and simple wood hinges. Her sculptures combine these elements to look at the destructive effects humans have on plant and animal life, and to encourage a greater intimacy between built and natural environments.
