Learn with Wave Hill
Wave Hill offers year-round educational programs for school groups Pre-K through 12th grade and camp groups ages 3 to 14, fostering the connections between students and the flora, fauna and land around them. Each program is designed to help students situate themselves in the classroom, the city and the natural world, and empower students to take action on behalf of these communities. Wave Hill’s outdoor hands-on programs access and align with NGSS, Scope and Sequence and Common Core learning standards through scientific investigations, mindfulness practices, social-emotional learning and the arts.
Wave Hill also offers workshops and multi-day learning opportunities for educators, both in your school and at Wave Hill. Programs integrate research-based pedagogical approaches, learning theories and content knowledge on a range of topics, including interactive nature exploration, nature-based art instruction, the interplay between humans and the environment, and ecological restoration and research.
