Nurturing Gardens and Careers

A spectacular 28-acre public garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades in the Bronx, Wave Hill's vibrant landscape has been called “one of the greatest living works of art.” Open year-round, Wave Hill strives to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world.

In addition to the gardens themselves, Wave Hill offers workshops, walks and talks, and wellness programs to the public. It has robust offerings of programs for students in grades K through 12, as well as two high-school internships and an one for aspiring horticulturists. Glyndor Gallery and Wave Hill House are home to exhibitions of contemporary art.

Employment opportunities are full and part-time, and range across all the program and administrative areas of the institution. Wave Hill is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive environment for all employees.
