Wave Hill's Privacy Policy
This privacy policy identifies the ways we collect, use and protect email addresses obtained through our website, as well as your options for unsubscribing to Wave Hill's email communications.
In various places on our website and onsite at Wave Hill, we gather email addresses for the purpose of allowing people to subscribe to Wave Hill's email communications and reserve admission and event tickets. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the "unsubscribe" link at the end of each email. Wave Hill does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise exploit in any way the email addresses of Wave Hill's email subscribers and recipients. Periodically, Wave Hill's Membership department sends out information regarding special Membership offers and other important garden news.
To ensure that visitor information is secure and personal information is protected, Wave Hill's content management system uses SSL to encrypt passwords and data. Our website may set “cookies” for the purpose of collecting aggregate statistics about the total number of visitors to our website. We do not store any personally identifiable information in cookies.
Donor Privacy Policy
Wave Hill occasionally exchanges its Membership mailing list with other non-profit organizations with similar interests and missions. Our Members are always offered the opportunity to opt out of such exchanges when they join or renew and to opt out of such exchanges at any time by contacting the Membership office.
Revisions to our Privacy Policy
If for any reason it becomes necessary for Wave Hill to revise its privacy policy, an advisory notice will be emailed explaining the change and offering subscribers the opportunity to opt out. Such revisions may arise in response to changes in the law, policy, our site, or other factors.
