Timber Press's new publication Nature into Art: The Gardens of Wave Hill is available for purchase by emailing TheShop@wavehill.org or by calling The Shop at 718.549.3200 x249. In tandem with the release of the book, this fall Ngoc Minh Ngo: Wave Hill Florilegium, a collection of vibrant, jewel-toned plant portraits, is on view in Wave Hill House. The photographer of Nature into Art, Ngo visited the garden regularly through the seasons, especially at dawn and dusk, to capture the diversity of the gardens. Ngoc Minh Ngo: Wave Hill Florilegium, an exhibition on view in Wave Hill House, also includes a selection of her stunning photographs for the book, capturing both iconic views and garden “rooms” across the landscape, including the Flower Garden, Shade Border and the Wild and Aquatic Gardens. It also includes plant portraits taken from March to July this year. All of the photographs in the exhibition are available for sale through The Shop. See the attached checklist for more info. For purchases, please contact The Shop at 718.549.3200 x249 or by emailing TheShop@wavehill.org.

The Wave Hill Chair

The Wave Hill Chair, a signature product offered through The Shop, is based on a chair designed by the acclaimed Dutch architect Gerrit Rietveld in 1918 and now part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Compatible with virtually any architectural form, the Wave Hill Chair provides a welcome alternative to the Adirondack chair and its various redwood counterparts. The Wave Hill Chair is available for sale through The Shop at Wave Hill, as is The Gardens of Wave Hill, a volume of stunning photographs of Wave Hill in all four seasons.

To order plans for the Wave Hill Chair, call The Shop at Wave Hill at 718.549.3200 x249, or email chairinquiry@wavehill.org.

Located in the Perkins Visitor Center, The Shop at Wave Hill is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30AM‒4:30PM.

As a special thank-you, onsite parking is free when you spend $50 or more in The Shop.
