Reciprocal Benefits

Partner Institutions

Wave Hill Members enjoy privileges at participating regional institutions with whom we have established reciprocal benefits.  Please note the particular discounts offered by each participating vendor.  To receive  the discount, you must show your Wave Hill Membership card at the register when you enter the  museum, garden or other institution.

American Horticultural Society

American Horticultural Society, one of the oldest national gardening organizations in the country, the American Horticultural Society’s  Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP) promotes horticulture across the U.S., encouraging people to visit  gardens while traveling. Thanks to RAP, Wave Hill Members enjoy free or discounted admission and other  benefits at more than 270 botanical gardens, arboreta and conservatories in 45 states, Canada, the  Cayman Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Be sure to check the AHS website for participating organizations and the benefits offered by each.

Effective January 1, 2014, Wave Hill will offer 50% off admission to members of reciprocal gardens located within the 5 boroughs of New York City, up to the limit on the membership card presented. Members of reciprocal gardens located outside of New York City will receive free admission. No reciprocal benefits—or guest passes or family passes—will apply for special Wave Hill events, such as Sunset Wednesdays, Honey Weekend or Raptor Day.
