Kousa Dogwood

Kousa Dogwood (Cornus kousa)

This handsome tree, native to Korea and Japan, provides lovely fall color, but is most impressive when covered by floral bracts in early summer. The broad white bracts contain at their center a small green flower, followed by edible pink fruit.
