Back by popular demand, master falconer Brian Bradley and his beautiful, beloved raptors return for a live bird presentation! Watch trained birds of prey sharpen their hunting skills during an exciting outdoor flight demonstration. Hear about the ancient sport of falconry and learn more about raptors from around the world as they fly overhead.

Space is limited. Ages seven and older welcome with an adult. Families with younger children are invited to register for the Family Falconry Presentation: Meet the Raptors! program at 12PM. All audience members require a ticket and must remain seated at all times during the program. Same-day tickets based on availability.

Registration required; online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251. Inclement weather moves the program indoors.

Spend the day! Purchase a bundle ticket to also attend the morning’s Birding: Wings Over Wave Hill program.

Questions? Please contact us at information@wavehill.org or by calling the number and extension provided above.

The program location is accessed from a sloping route consisting of paved, gravel, and grass pathways. Space for a wheelchair is provided on the grass for ticket holders. The presenter will use a speaker system.

    Brian Bradley

Brian Bradley is a master falconer from New York’s Hudson Valley. His interest in birds of prey started at the young age of eight, when his brother introduced him to a professor/ornithologist at the local university. Brian got his Falconry license when he was 14, and he has been training birds ever since. For decades he has been lecturing on raptors and spreading awareness about falconry and birds of prey all across the northeast. When he isn’t in front of an audience talking about his birds, he is training with his birds. Bringing a positive learning experience to both audience and bird is paramount to Brian. Whether it's actively hunting with his hawks or talking to a classroom of kids, he feels there is always something to learn and something to share.
