Mark Twain Room, Wave Hill House
Join fiber artist and puppeteer J Hann for an afternoon fiber arts workshop inspired by the natural beauty of Wave Hill. Using natural fibers such as wool and thread, participants will learn the basics of needle felting with an embroidery hoop. Through the craft’s rhythmic, meditative motions, participants are encouraged to approach needle felting as a mindfulness practice, prioritizing intuitive artmaking and creative exploration over a predetermined outcome.
