This summer, we are thrilled to be able to bring back Sunset Wednesdays, a much-loved series of evening concerts outdoors.
Sunset Wednesdays 2022 are also part of the first Festival of New York, a series of events across the five boroughs made up of more than 200 partner organizations, including public institutions and local businesses spanning arts and culture, athletics, community service, education, parks and hospitality.
Performances take place from July 13 through August 3, 7PM to 8PM, on the Great Lawn.
On Sunset Wednesdays, both The Café and The Shop at Wave Hill will be open till 7PM. Visitors may bring their own folding chairs—no blankets, please!—and picnicking is allowed only in the picnic area adjacent to Glyndor Gallery.
On Sunset Wednesdays, from 4 to 8PM, admission to the gardens is $12/adults; $8/students/seniors; $6/children 6-18; FREE for Members and children under 6. Each performance is free with admission. Registration is encouraged, but not required, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors to Armor Hall in Wave Hill House. Capacity there is limited; registered guests will receive priority seating. Passes and discounts, including guest passes, Culture Pass, AHS, etc. will not be accepted starting at 4PM. Member-for-a-Day passes are accepted.
