Wave Hill-O-Ween

Calling all ghosts and goblins, pirates and princesses—it’s Halloween at Wave Hill! Venture through our iron gates (if you dare!) for an enchanted evening for the whole family. Discover spooky surprises with a garden scavenger hunt, monster mash to tunes on the lawn, snap a photo of the “gourdgeous” view, or unleash your creativity with a drop-in art activity inspired by the haunting season.  

All children, regardless of age, must be accompanied by an adult. Family or group costumes are encouraged; please refrain from super-scary costumes, fake weapons, or gore that may frighten children. Masks that cover the face are not allowed.     

The Café and Shop remain open until 6:00PM.      

Advance registration encouraged, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251. Day-of registration based on availability and not guaranteed. Severe weather moves indoors.

The Halloween trail follows a variety of routes along mixed-material pathways and varying elevations. Wave Hill House and Armor Hall are wheelchair-accessible. There is an accessible, ground-level entrance at the front of the building with a power-assist door. The restroom on the ground level is all-gender and ADA-compliant. Additional ADA-compliant restrooms are available on the lower level, which can be accessed by elevator.
