Tuesday, October 20, 10AM-3PM
Wednesday, October 21, 10AM-12PM

American Society of Botanical Artists juror and teaching artist Karen Kluglein leads this advanced workshop using the dry brush technique to create realistic botanicals in watercolor. Dry brush is an effective technique used to achieve smooth gradations as well as deep saturation of color and fine detail. This workshop begins with a presentation on dry brush practice followed by an artist demonstration and practice time. Day two allows ample time for a final critique.

This is a virtual workshop. Some experience with watercolors or botanical painting is recommended. Space is limited. Registration for this event closes at 10AM on Friday, October 16. Registrants will receive a follow-up email with a secure and private link to the event the day before, along with details about how to prepare for the class.
