Study the fall palette surrounded by Wave Hill’s ever-changing vistas and vignettes during this most dramatic season of color. In this series led by artist Wennie Huang, experiment with watercolor techniques, such as wet-on-wet, dry brush, glazing and color mingling, to create your own rendering. All levels welcome. A supplies list will be provided prior to the first class. This six-session series is rain or shine, with an indoor location reserved in the case of rain.

Registration required, online or by calling 718.549.3200 x251.

Questions? Please contact us at information@wavehill.org or by calling the number and extension provided above.

Plein air workshops make use of a variety of garden areas that are accessible via flat, paved paths, as well as a variety of mixed-material pathways and varying elevations, depending on the day and subject of study each week. Indoor workshops in Wave Hill House are on the first floor or are accessible via stairs or an elevator. The instructor uses a speaker system in all locations.
