Kids are invited to don tree-climbing harnesses and hardhats and ascend into the canopy of our old sugar maple tree to get a birds-eye view of Wave Hill. Arborists from Almstead Tree, Shrub and Lawn Care are on hand to assist budding arborists as well as answer questions about trees and tree care. Ages five to fifteen welcome with adult supervision. Arbor Weekend event.

This activity has weight/height parameters. Participants will be hoisted 10 to 20 feet above ground using real arborist safety harnesses, then lowered to the ground slowly and gently. The Entrance Lawn is near the front entrance and is accessible from paved paths and flat or moderately sloping lawns.
