An annual series hosted by the Friends of Horticulture Committee and devoted to the subject of garden design and the meaning of our interactions with plants and the natural world, the 2017 Horticultural Lectures offer the opportunity to hear three distinguished speakers—garden designer Bill Noble, who has worked to restore a number of gardens in the Cornish Colony in the Connecticut River Valley; David Fried, a pioneer in propagating and nurturing certified organic fruit and nut trees and founder of Elmore Roots Nursery in northern Vermont; and garden writer Jack Staub, co-founder of Hortulus Farm in rural Bucks County, PA. Wave Hill Horticultural Lectures are held at the New York School of Interior Design in Manhattan.
Wave Hill welcomes sponsorship of the three-lecture series. Please call 718.549.3200 x216 if you would like to become a sponsor of the 2016 series.
