From late June to late August, Wave Hill offers 11 special Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the gardens.

Grounds open until 8:30PM.
These evenings offer a series of seven lively outdoor concerts on the Great Lawn overlooking the Hudson River. Enjoy an inspiring mix of jazz, world, folk, Latin and Caribbean artists in this highly anticipated, summer series. Please leave your blankets home, but feel free to bring a picnic and your own folding chair—ours will fill quickly. In case of rain, the music will move indoors to Armor Hall with overflow space in the Mark Twain Room and the covered Kate French Terrace. Food, drink or outside chairs are not allowed in Armor Hall. Satellite speakers will allow you to enjoy the concert from the Mark Twain Room or Kate French Terrace.

Twilight in the Garden

Explore the gardens through a customized nature program or experience them through sound. Some outdoor events have a rain date; most will move indoors in inclement weather.  Twilight in the Garden's Sonic Experience series invites visitors to explore outdoor music at Wave Hill in new and unexpected locations on the grounds, featuring artists or groups that are an adventurous pioneers in their fields and provide access to their work through education, sharing and experimentation.

On Summer Evenings, special evening admission to the grounds starts at 4PM. $12 general adult admission; $8 student and seniors 65+; $6 children ages six+. Purchase admission online by 4PM on day of event and save $2. Online registration opens May 28. (Not applicable to programs for which registration is required. Sorry, no refunds or credits.) Free to Wave Hill Members and children under age six. No guest passes or reciprocal admission accepted. 

Please feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy in the picnic area adjacent to Glyndor Gallery, or purchase supper from The Café and dine on the Kate French Terrace. In case of rain, events move indoors. Check our Visit page for shuttle service.

Glyndor Gallery and The Café will be open till 7:30PM. The Perkins Visitor Center and Shop will be open till 7PM on Sunset Wednesdays and 5:30PM on Thursdays.
