Meet at the Perkins Visitor Center
Explore the abundance of scents in the Herb Garden with herbalist and aromatherapist Melissa Rivera. Learn about the medicinal value of summer herbs and their aromatic properties. Identify plants and their uses, discover a wide variety of fragrances and see which aromas fit your mood. Ages 10 and older welcome with an adult. Limited to 15 participants. Scented Plants Weekend event.
Walks are most appropriate for adults or young adults. Not intended for groups. Groups should sign-up for Private Garden Tours.

Melissa Rivera, of Holistic Energy Healing, has been a holistic body-care formulator for over 18 years. She uses her knowledge of herbalism and aromatherapy to create products that help heal the mind, body and soul. Happily ensconced in the Hudson Valley, Melissa can be found teaching a variety of classes, selling products at artisan markets or meeting clients for individual coaching.
